ABOUT THE DESIGN COLLOQUIUM
The Design Colloquium began in 2005 as a collaboration with Cameron MacAllister Group and Breuer Consulting Group as a forum for leaders of design firms to discuss topics of relevance in a memorable setting. In 2016, Cameron MacAllister Group became the exclusive host of the event.
All design disciplines are invited to participate at the Colloquium:
architecture, planning and urban design, landscape architecture, engineering and interior design.
Firms are from the US and Canada. These events have been extremely successful — both as a learning format, and as a venue for informal exchange among peers.
The program is tailored for Design-First firms — those practices that have managed to retain exceptional design excellence without relying on a 'black cape' design superstar.
In addition to presentations and discussions, the one-and-one-half day forum provides opportunities for interaction among attendees in a stimulating setting in San Francisco’s Golden Gate National Park Conservancy. The tenor of the events is candid and lively, affording a free exchange of ideas and experiences. Following the events, we publish a report that highlights the presentations and discussions.
